Dominic Corva, executive director of the Center for the Study of Cannabis and Social Policy, talks about the road to equitable legalization of cannabis. He has spent the past decade as a 'boots-on-the-ground' academic observing the legacy cultivation communities integral in the plant becoming widely accessible today.
Dominic is co-director of the Humboldt Institute of Interdisciplinary Marijuana Research at Humboldt State University (HSU), the Cannabis Policy Specialist for the California Center for Rural Policy at HSU. He has co-authored successful grant applications to California's Social Equity Grant Program for Humboldt and Mendocino Counties. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Washington Geography program in 2010.
